HLEX grew out of more than ten years of hands-on software work — building exchanges that move real money, mobile apps that ship on App Store and Play Store, and SaaS platforms that quietly run other companies' businesses.
Along the way we noticed a gap. Most agencies are great at pixels or great at code, but rarely at both — and almost none of them stay around long enough to operate what they build. We started HLEX to close that gap: a small, senior team that owns the work from the first whiteboard sketch to the production deploy and the on-call rotation that follows.
From our office on Burrard Street in downtown Vancouver, we partner with founders, in-house teams, and established Canadian companies on the kind of work that doesn't fit neatly into a template — and we treat each engagement like our own product.
